x    John asked about the 501C application.  Judy said it is usually comes  in January.  She will keep a look out for it.

 Robin reported:

Robin asked about the election.  Dominic is absent.  John [called Dominic on the cell phone] said the election is December 9, 2004 at 7:00PM at the Wilsona Elementary School in the multipurpose room. Papers have to be in to Dominic or John by November 26, 2004.  The papers are available in library, post office, and Saddleback True Value hardware store.

John will get with Dominic.

Judy said Department of Waterworks called because they are looking for the septic tank.  Judy believes the tank is under the parking lot. Judy believes the leach line is also under the parking lot.  Judy doesn’t know if there is a plot plan.  It should be with regional planning.

Paul Bean asked if there could be a guarantee that any building at the park would not preclude having the lake filled as surface retention reservoir. According to Paul, Lake LA is one of 5 communities in contention for having the water.

Robin feels that the park goes hand in hand with the Lake concept.  Robin will bring his concerns up with Jim Daly as he is the principal engineer.  Project manager is David Howard.

Robin will talk on the phone, and follow up by a letter stating that the lake is an important part of the park and community’s future.

Robin reported that the last report from the County states that all is on track. The archeologist did the walk around, and said that everything looks OK.  When his report is in to the County, the negative declaration should be in, and then all is a go.

  • Robin was hoping to hear from John Heller. It will be better for John to come in January as the December election will take so much time.  Bill Haggerty should come in December.
  • County has agreed to give the old playground equipment to Cornerstone School as it is no longer up to county code.  It will be given to the school next month.  The jungle gym will be given.  The play equipment went in 9 years ago. We paid for the equipment, so it should stay in the community.  Dominic first suggested that it should stay in the community.  Robin made it happen from Dominic’s suggestion.
