Treasurer- Yvonne Malikowski:

Beginning balance $324.40 Board Balance

Deposit $ 426.76 – Future ‘Friends of the Park” account

  • Mary Hanna  motioned to accept treasurer’s report, Dominic Fohrenkam 2nd  – All approved
  • Yvonne Malikowski made the motion to reimburse the LLA Park Board $43.29 for the Easter bunny suit from the Friend of the Park.  Bob Mahaffey 2nd All approved
  • Dominic Fohrenkam motioned to pay Regina $40.49 to reimburse for the subway sandwich for the volunteers for Healthy Parks.  Bob Mahaffey 2nd.

 

 

 Robin reported:

 

  • Negative declaration is at the Los Angeles County library for review.  June 6 will be the date for bids. July 19 will be the awards of contracts. Saturday, July 30 will be ground breaking at the park.
  • Sharon Davis from The Neel Center is looking to move into Lake LA and will be working on the VINTA project.

 

 


Old Business:

·        John Jones will be checking on the federal ID number.

 

New business:

·        Mixer for Chamber is June 7 at On the Rocks.  It is $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple.

·        The board accepted Tish Wodezki’s resignation. Cathy Terrones as first alternate is now a board member. Therefore there is now an opening for alternate.  If there are any members of the community who interested, they should contact a board member.

·        Robin is sending a letter to the owners of the lot at 170th and P.  Dominic Fohrenkam made the motion to send the letter Bob Mahaffey 2nd.
