Healthy Park Day
and Healthy Butte 3K/5K Run/ Walk - A small field of runners got
up early on a Saturday and had fun. There were fewer presenters as
the vandalism at the building smashed the computer and created
organizational problems. The Friends tried out pancake breakfast and
Screaming Hot Dogs for lunch. We'll do it all again. Expect a
Pancake Breakfast with Santa and later with the Easter Bunny....

Easter Egg Hunt 2010- Thank you,
for donating your money, time, and resources, so the children of Lake Los
Angeles could enjoy a beautiful day making great memories!

- Easter Egg Hunt 2008- I have included
a Microsoft movie- I have little luck with videos and movies, so if
it doesn't work, I have also included a regular photo gallery that
usually work.
- Second Annual Healthy Parks and Healthy Butte 3K/5K
Run and Walk 2008- The
Lake LA News
came through with pictures and article about the day.
- Cinco de Mayo 2008- Setting up for
the day, the parade, and a bit at what could be called Lake LA
Plaza.
- Second Annual Freedom Motorcycle Poker
Run- There were two other big bike events scheduled for the same
day, so although there were fewer people than expected, it was still
a great day to be on a bike.
- Second Annual Dry Lake LA Run/Walk
3K/5K and Lake LA Day 2008 - A beautiful day- great weather,
great fun, lots of people and great memories were made.
- A Visit With Santa December 13,
2008- It was a cold and windy day, but the Holiday Spirit , kind and
courteous families, welcome neighbors, and heartfelt good wishes
made all feel welcome and warm.

1st Annual
Healthy Butte 3K/5K Walk and Run May 12, 2007- we got up
early. In the future Healthy Butte Run/Walk will be
during Health and Safety Fair which is the second Saturday in April.
The next Healthy Butte Run/Walk is April 12, 2008
- 1st Annual Freedom
Motorcycle Poker Ride- From the High Desert through
the mountains and back, July 7, 2007.
- 1st Annual Dry Lake LA 3K/5K Run/Walk-
The run/ walk is one of the activities of Lake LA Day September 22,
2007. Sign up at 7AM the run/walk starts at 8AM
- Pictures of Trick or Trunk October 27, 2007-
This activity included Haunted Park. There were a lot more
people than last year. next year, get ready, decorate yourself
and the trunk of your car, the back of your truck, a trailer, ....be
creative- let's have some fun!
- Tree Lighting, Lake LA Court, Santa,
Toys for Tots, Parade of Lights - December 8, 2007- December 12,
2007 This first
annual Tree Lighting at the park ran into a minor electrical source
glitch, so we used a smaller tree than what will be seen for the
rest of the Holiday Season. Also, the toys with Santa day pictures.
