- SPOOK-Tacular Fun for LLA Families
Lake LA Park Association and Friends of the Park Host 2018 Trunk or Treat
Over 2,000 people gathered at the Park on the Saturday before Halloween to enjoy a favorite LLA Halloween Tradition - Trunk or Treat.
"Trunkers" came out with costumes and decorated cars to give out candy to all the Ghouls and Goblins who patiently waiting in line for the event to start.
LLA{A Board o Directors helped with the Snack Bar and with sales of tickets for the indoor games at the Gymnasium.
A total of over $800 was raised by this event and ALL funds go back into the community to support recreational programs and activities at the Park
Over $700 in candy was supplied to the Trunkers by the LLAPA to make sure that everyone had enough candy .
One of the programs , Crocheting for a Cause, which the LLAPA supports through donations for supplies and their festive Trunk
Another festive trunk - I Heart Lake Los Angeles - a community program in LLA that helps to keep our local deserts clean
